Do you ever  want to be caught up with the news of the world? Something digestible, something interesting enough to make you want to read about it? From covering school events to global headlines, the McBride Paw Print is made just for you!

The Paw Print is operated by McBride’s own Journalism Club, a group of students conducting research, interviewing students & staff, and writing about everything from politics to the latest trends online. We’re unique compared to the other news outlets you may have heard of, because the Paw Print is a student-led, student-targeted newspaper. Our mission is to inform the students of McBride with informational and easy-to-understand articles, promoting equality, remaining unbiased, and encouraging them to voice their opinion and inform others as well. In this way, the Paw Print is a community effort that benefits the school as a whole.

The process of writing articles requires a significant amount of time and effort, meaning that we are a team effort, collaborating to produce what you find on our website. Researchers, photographers, writers, and web designers are just some of the jobs a publication like ours requires. If you’re interested in aiding with the Paw Print and developing some skills for yourself, consider joining Journalism Club! We’re brand-new and consist of just a few members, so we appreciate all the help we can get.

Journalism Club meets for 8th period every Tuesday in Room F104 (Mr. E’s room), and the Paw Print consistently publishes throughout the school year.
